Kimberly M. Cahill Bar Leadership Award Online Application

Criteria

    This award is presented to a recognized local or affinity bar association, program, or leader for excellence in promoting the ideal of professionalism or equal justice for all, or in responding to a compelling legal need within the community during the past year or on an ongoing basis.

    Please note that “bar leader” includes non-lawyers. “Local or affinity” applies to the bar association, the program, and the leader. A person or organization collaborating with a local or affinity bar association is eligible for this award.

Explain clearly how the nominated individual, organization, or program has promoted the ideal of professionalism within the legal community or equal access to justice for all.

Describe how the community has benefited as a result of this effort. Give one or more example(s) of how this individual, organization or program has responded to a compelling need in the community impacting the professionalism of those within the system or access to equal justice for all.

Did the nominated individual, organization, or program collaborate with other groups to achieve the desired goals? If so, please identify each group.
